Strands 1 and 2

Creativity & Innovation is encouraged through the usage of Glogster, Animoto, and Prezi. These tools allow students to maximize their lesson learned by applying their knowledge in a digitally creative platform. Check out the "Integrated Communication" tab for examples of these technologies and how they are utilized in my classroom.

Strands 3-6

Strand 3- Kiddle is a new search engine created by Google strictly for kids. It monitors and allows students to research safely online. My students use this site often for classwork and projects.

Strand 4- My students often use, iTooch by eduPad. It has over 10,000 exercises, including examples, lessons, figures, and more to increase critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making. http://www.edupad.com/itooch/middle-school-app/
Strand 5- Students are well aware of thier technological responsibility and respectfully care of school equipment. My students use blogs and twitter to communicate digitally amongst one another.
Strand 6-My students are able to demonstrate a sound understanding of technology concepts and operations. Some of the productivity software that they use are as follows:

Internet literacy is also an important component that is taught in my class.
