Hello, I am Meshayla Kemp. I'm a 6th year teacher at Tyler ISD. I have taught multiple grade levels and disciplines ranging from 4th-8th grade. I'm a dynamic and goal-oriented professional with a knack for fostering a positive and collaborative environment for students, families, and staff. I am sophisticated in communicating and collaborating effectively by relying on excellent interpersonal skills, high-level emotional intelligence, and solid expertise in employee relations.

I am God's beloved. A devoted Christian, wife, and mother to two beautiful daughters. I embody a true passion for learning and being of service to others. I am a strong believer in honesty, and upholding high ethical and moral standards. I'm limitless, and I think outside the box. I truly believe that there is a way to achieve anything in life, if you really want it.

I'm a true southern belle from Tyler, TX. I graduated from John Tyler H.S. (Tyler High) in 2011, and furthered my studies at Stephen F. Austin State University, where I received my BBA. After graduating, I moved to North Texas to work in the mortgage industry for two years. I wasn't fulfilled with my career and decided to move back to East Texas to further my education. I received my MBA, Dec 2014, and my M.Ed., Aug 2015. I began teaching for Tyler ISD in 2015, and since, I continue to strive to expand my students' limits and push their creativity.
